Nashville School Bus Accident Attorney
School Bus Accident Claims in Tennessee
School buses transport over 22 million children to school and back every day, and millions more ride school buses for religious, athletic, youth, and camping events. With so much happening at once, it is statistically inevitable that children will be injured in a crash. However, that does not mean you cannot hold faulty parties responsible.
Kinnard Law has been serving Tennessee residents since 1977 with ethical, passionate, and award-winning representation. If your child was injured in a school bus accident, we have the experience to help make sure that medical expenses, pain and suffering, and other costs are provided for by those responsible.

Misleading Information Regarding School Bus Crashes
Unfortunately, the data compiled regarding school bus accidents and crashes seem to be misleading. While the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration insists that school buses are far safer than passenger cars, there are some inconsistencies in many reports.
For example, the National Coalition for School Bus Safety notes that a Los Angeles district reported a total of five fatalities in a study to determine if seat belts would reduce injury. In doing so, they omitted a school bus accident that resulted in 29 deaths alone that occurred during the same time period.
In addition, in its reports, the NHTSA does not factor in school bus usage for any reason other than school transportation for elementary or high schools. Potentially, every injury or fatality involving a school bus for college students, daycares, childcare centers, or youth organizations is not being reported.
