Mary Ellen Morris
Education & Background
Mary Ellen Morris graduated from Western Kentucky in 1982 with a double major in History and Broadcasting. Mary was given the Award of Excellence Scholarship, the A.M. Stickles History Award Scholarship, and numerous other awards during her time there.
After obtaining her B.A. summa cum laude, she went on to study at Vanderbilt University Law School, graduating with her J.D. in 1988. She participated in the Moot Court Team and the Vanderbilt Law Review and was a member of the Order of the Coif. She was given the Law Review Associate Editor’s Award and was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Awards in numerous areas.
Mary has published several works over the years, demonstrating her excellent legal knowledge and understanding. She has also taught a class on advanced depositions in Tennessee.
